Is This Really Pen Spinning?

  This is a topic I briefly touched on at  XOAY 2025 During World Tour 25, I noticed several comments saying things like: “Spinning two pens with constant pauses like that isn’t pen spinning,” or  “Using a string in an Isuk solo shouldn’t count either.” And honestly - I think they’re right. This isn’t pen spinning. Because let’s be real: none of these actually look like pens anymore. Think about it - what kind of pen is loaded with real bullets? Or wrapped entirely in tape until it resembles a primitive weapon? Some of them can’t even write anymore. Some aren’t even made from pens at all. If a pen no longer serves its original purpose - if it can’t write - then what makes it a pen in the first place? That’s why I believe this culture deserves a different name. A name of its own. Because  pen spinning  is no longer an accurate label. When people hear “pen spinning,” they immediately associate it with a school desk, a classroom habit, something trivial - something...

A Few Unpolished Thoughts on the Growth of the Vietnamese Pen Spinning Community

First of all, I’d like to say that this is not a carefully polished piece of writing. These are simply thoughts that needed to come out - so that I can allow myself to look back at what I’ve done, and why I’m still here. On the factors that I believe have helped the Vietnamese pen spinning community grow As I grow older, I find myself having more and more things to worry about. And because of that, pen spinning sometimes lingers in my mind as a quiet question: Should I continue to enjoy it carelessly, the way I used to? Or should I let go of this small joy that has followed me since my school days, all the way into adulthood and working life? I think this story is similar to that of many generations before me. A small number still spin. A small number still follow the community. But the majority have completely walked away. Is this hobby really that easy to abandon? How I made VNPS WT PROMO

 INTRODUCTION   For such a long time, I really want to try to write something but have not been fully motivated to do so. After reading a few articles by Drowsy and Lotus, I truly understand the point of sharing personal ideas/experiences because it also means a lot to someone.
